Classes Held Monthly

Grant Staff, Inc. Private Grant Writing and Research Seminar is an intensive, hands-on workshop on the research methods and skill of professional grant writing. This course is comprehensive in its ability to take students through each and every step of the grant writing process. Participants will learn the entire proposal writing process to help them expand their development capacity. This tutorial is designed to help participants become competent and confident grant writers. Participants will:

  • Write an actual proposal.
  • Receive assistance with research so that each participant can generate ten prospects.
  • Obtain feedback and editing on the completed proposal from the tutorial instructor, Tamara Leonard, up to 30 days after the seminar.
  • Expand the development capacity in their own organizations.

Grant Staff, Inc. Fast Facts

Tamara Leonard earned an Associate’s Degree in Mass Communications from Joliet Junior College.

She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Communications with a concentration in Journalism from Governors State University.

Tamara also holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership Administration from Lewis University.

Tamara is currently earning her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Tamara Leonard is certified as a Fund Raising Executive by the Association of Fund Raising Professionals.

Tamara Leonard has taught Grant Writing Seminars at various Universities throughout the country.
